The Room of Stables

The ceiling of the room once used as a stable, is a large ogival vault without crosses, but dotted with holes, which are nothing more than inverted amphorae, placed symmetrically, with the intent of lightening it. At the far left, covered by a glass pane, there are the remains of an ancient staircase, probably used in the 16th century to access the first floor, which was demolished in 1932, when a restoration was carried out to restore the room to its original state. On display in the room there are Roman finds discovered in the city.
