Facing south-west, in ancient times it was called "del Sale", because it was used as a salt deposit, in fact it was directly connected to the shore by a large slide.
This, like the other corner towers, has the characteristic of being externally circular and internally octagonal, as demonstrated by the perfect rays of the umbrella vault illuminated by the typical slits, of a thin and elongated shape.
