Kratere, with two handles, in black decoration; (restored with modern material). The edge is decorated with palmettes and loto flowers. Another round of diagonal palmettes adorns the lower part immediately below the figure. A) In the center, Perseus, with his head covered by a broad-brimmed hat, his feet adorned with winged sandals, and his body wrapped in an exomis, holds the curved sickle in his right hand and raises the head of the Gorgon in his left hand. He turns his head towards a female figure (the protective goddess), standing with her left hand resting on a spear and her right hand lowered and extended, with an open palm. To the left of the hero, a figure of an old man sits on a high throne and wields a scepter with his right hand. The group is flanked by two figures: a masculine one, draped, stands behind the old man, bending forward and leaning on a staff. Behind the goddess, a diademed female figure is seated on a high rock seat, resting her left arm on her leg. Behind this figure, you can see a leafless shrub. B) A dynamic scene featuring four figures: in the foreground, Poseidon, bearded with shoulder-length hair, wielding a trident, strides quickly to the right. He is flanked by two winged Gorgon figures of a horrifying type, dressed in chitons. On the left, the scene is closed by a female figure with her head encircled by a tenia and dressed in a chiton and cloak.
